This collaborative effort led by CFANS to develop a robust curriculum around diversity, inclusion and intercultural competence at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) and the broader University has the following goals:
-
Develop a curriculum that will be progressive or “spiral” such that key concepts are presented repeatedly throughout the curriculum and with deepening layers of complexity, or in different applications
-
Build a framework for intentionally developing courses and integrated curricula that foster integrated diversity learning
-
Pilot the program beginning in Fall 2021 by inviting instructors to submit course proposals
